Vic Bidzinski

In Remembrance

I learned late on September 13th about the sudden death of long-time Strathcona County Councillor, Vic Bidzinski. I first met Vic when I was 13 years old on a school trip to County Hall. Over the years, we have stayed in touch and he has always been kind and friendly with me.

He was a good man, and we were lucky to have had him represent us over the last 25 years.

I have offered my deepest condolences to both Vic's family and close friends. I am deeply saddened by his passing as Vic has been a passionate and devoted community leader for over four decades.

To honour Vic's family and his friends, my campaign will be on hold until after his funeral on September 20th. There is a time for politics, and there is a time for humanity and this is a time for humanity.

These are sad days for his family, and I want to respect their grieving as well as thank them for sharing Vic with this community for these many years.
